Saloni's POV

I was in my room getting ready for my college's close friend Ruby's cocktail party. Ruby has been one of my longest and closest friend apart from that gadhedo.

(hehe...so hello guys, I am Saloni Bhargava, eldest daughter of Bhargava family. I am a content writer in a company which works for women rights. I have always been very much inclined towards women rights and wanted to do something for them. Okay....and the gadhedo I am talking about here is my only guy friend Shubham. You know he really is a gadha, Kya matlab itne saalon m use samajh ni aaya ki mai usse pyaar karti hoon? sighs dramatically vese...I am a bit drama queen so bear with me okay??? Chalo chalo, let me get ready before that idiot arrives and starts throwing a tantrum... bye, cuties!)

(He didn't get it that I love him?)

I finished my makeup and took a step back to admire myself in the mirror.

"Haaye.... saloni how can you be so beautiful?" I blushed at my own reflection. 

(A/N: Yeah and still can't make Shubham fall for you...)

(A/N: sighs saara kaam mujhe hi karna padta hay....rab ki jagah author ne banadi jodi kyu ni kar lete hum)

(acha jao na...abhi aap karo kuch mujhe ready hone do!)

After makeup...I slipped into my dress. A small frown crept onto my face as I glanced in the mirror again.

"I am not looking that skinny...am I?" I mumbled to myself, I have always been taunted for being too skinny 

sighs ye kisi or din batayenge....let just focus on getting ready.

(Will tell it some other day)

With a final touch—some accessories, a spritz of perfume, and tada!—I was ready. But guess who still hasn't arrived?

I texted him "where are you gadhe?" 

And the man had the audacity to leave me on seen. Huh. He always gives me reasons to fight, and then say "why do you always fight with me"? I said mimicking him

As I was busy in all this I heard the doll bell ring.....and I was expecting anything but this from him.
